Welcome to the world heritage High coast! Here you can enjoy the surroundings and if that is not enough, there are plenty more activities around the area.
If you want something to do close around the bed and breakfast, we recommend you to go swimming at the lake Butjärn, play wild west at Fort Kodiak or to taste whiskey at the local distillery Box whiskey. Why not bathe a genuine finish sauna overlooking the river Ångerman? Are you interested in flea markets, we can recommend several places for you to visit! Väja gården and flea market in Lo are two of our favorites.
A few kilometers away stands the mountain Skuleberget, waiting for you to walk up to the summit. If you are looking for a more thrilling experience, you can climb along the rock face (see Via ferrata). As long as you do not miss the famous cave, where parts of Astrid Lindgrens book Ronja Rövardotter has been filmed. If you are not looking for a walk or a climbing experience, there is also a lift that can take you all the way to the summit, where top cabin is waiting with refreshments and a grand view.
More hiking is located at the beautiful national park Skuleskogen. There you can walk along the sea cost, through the old forest or along the mountains. If you rather want to go sunbathing and swimming, there is a beautiful beach located at Norrfjällsviken, which offers golf links and cozy fishing cottages. Other fishing villages are also located at Barsta and Bönhamn, both which are nice excursions for lunch. From both places you can take a boat toHögbondens fyr. Perhaps you are looking for a more culture experience? Then we recommend a visit to Mannaminne or Villa Fraxinus. The Nature Reserve Rotsidan is another nice excursion for those who wish to experience vast flat cliffs, next to the ocean. Maybe you are more of a gambler? If so, take a trip to Dannero travbana and try out your luck!
